Marko Savić is a welcomed speaker at different trade and design organizations with three topics in general, including design strategies and economy, cross-media publishing, and not least innovation in business models and business models design and development. He is a skilled presenter with strong presence, multi-language abilities and multi-cultural experiences. BUSINESS INNOVATION & BUSINESS MODELS DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
Business models design is a presentation on the business model generation. You may wish follow the #bmgen community on twitter. Contrary to the expectation, this highly “theoretical” presentation is well accepted by the audience, mainly probably because it shows the possible long term path for every organization.
Business models design presentation is actually a short introduction for the Design your new business models workshop. It presents just briefly the Business model canvas but mainly it’s about concepts on constructive capitalism from the book The new capitalist manifesto: building a disruptively better business written by Umair Haque. Which companies are insurgents and which incumbents? What concepts used in insurgents companies made this companies capable of creating thick value? Three short cases of such companies are presented.

DESIGN STRATEGIES, BRANDING AND ECONOMY
Who needs design strategies? Design or economy? Marko provides outlook about the role of design in the corporations and specifically about the design strategies in those corporations. Provided are examples and cases from various organisations and whole industries being transformed by design strategies.
Audience members will learn about cooperation between boards, strategic planners, designers and design managers. The role of designer in design strategy development is explained using general cases of ordinary, smart and truly visionary companies. And not least presentation ends with the answer to the question: why we need design strategies?

Presentation on the cross-media publishing is the case study and story of development and marketing process of the design tool for interactive annual reports. Interesting as a lesson for smaller communities, organizations or start-up companies as a model how not to approach to new product or service design and development.
